40cm is a choker to collarbone length, sitting high on the neck. 45cm is princess length, falling just below the collarbone, and the most versatile of the three. 50cm sits on the chest and layers well under a longer chain.
Care
Real pearls are far softer than crystal and porous. Put them on last, after perfume, hairspray and makeup. Wipe with a soft damp cloth after wearing and store flat, never hanging, as the thread stretches over time. Never use silver dip or polish on the pearls themselves.
