Choosing a Stone

Colour is the honest reason most people choose. Turquoise and amazonite for cool blue-greens, pink quartz and rhodochrosite for soft pinks, tiger stone for the warm browns that sit best against gold, green aventurine for a deep sage. The mixed strand is the one to pick if you want a bracelet that works with everything rather than one outfit.

Why PVD on the Metal Parts

The clasp and spacers take the most friction on any bracelet, and standard plating wears through there first. PVD bonds the gold layer inside a vacuum chamber rather than depositing it electrically, giving a harder surface that keeps its colour where cheaper fittings go silver at the edges within a season.

Care

Natural stone is porous and will absorb perfume, sun cream and hand sanitiser. Put the bracelet on last, take it off before swimming, and wipe it with a dry cloth rather than washing it. Softer stones such as turquoise and rhodochrosite scuff against metal, so store them apart from chains.
