Care

Pearl and shell are both soft, porous and slowly dissolved by acid — perfume, hairspray and perspiration all count. Put these in last when dressing and take them out first. Wipe with a soft damp cloth after wearing, dry them, and store wrapped in fabric rather than sealed in plastic.
