Getting the Size Right
Bangles are sized by internal diameter rather than wrist circumference, and that is where most people order wrong. Measure across the widest part of your closed hand, thumb tucked in — not around the wrist. If that measurement is close to 56–58mm the bangle will pass over the hand; much wider and it will not.
What a Tension Setting Does
A tension setting holds each stone by pressure between two points of metal rather than under claws. Less metal covers the stone, so more light reaches it and the zirconia looks larger and brighter than the same stone in a claw setting. The trade-off is that it should not be knocked hard against a surface.
